Finnan’s Gift Team Spirit

Getting into the spirit on Race Day

Embracia’s inaugural team of 81 employees participated as part of Team Finnan’s Gift in the Melbourne Marathon Festival on Sunday 12 October 2014. Showing true team spirit everyone was at the Olympic Boulevard meeting point in central Melbourne by 9am to join in a warm-up led by Olympic aerial skiing gold medallist, Alisa Camplin-Warner and her husband Oliver. Together with their daughter Florence, and with friends and family, they participated in the events on Race Day.

Helping others

Finnan’s Gift was established by Alisa and Oliver Camplin-Warner to honour their son Finnan Maximus’ memory who passed away at The Royal Children’s Hospital at only ten days and after several operations from congenital heart disease.

In 2015 their goal is to raise $250,000 to purchase four centrifugal pumps that support heart and lung function post-surgery by pumping re-oxygenated blood around the body.

Embracia employees were proud to collectively contribute more than $11,000 to Finnan’s Gift to help in the purchase of the four pumps. Each of our Victorian homes either directly fundraised or sponsored their colleagues as they ran or walked the Marathon events –  true Finnan’s Gift Team Spirit!
